I have looked for so long trying to find websites that weren’t scams, it seemed impossible for a while lol.
I only found two so far that I actually make money from, I make enough to pay 2 of my bills each month so its just nice having that extra money for not a lot of effort. See links below.
Hope I helped! good luck
The vast majority of paid surveys are true scams working off of legitimate advertisers who are willing to pay people to take surveys while assuming that the surveyors have actually purchased the merchant’s goods and services. In most instances, the so-called paid surveyors do not purchase anything. So, the advertisers are ripped off. The most egregious survey scams are treasuretrooper, cashcrate, and inboxdollars.
This site lists tonnes of helpful programs, and it includes payment proof. All are free to join and pay directly to paypal.

Yes paid surveys are real, but the problem is that there are far more sites “posing” as surveys out there than there are real ones. I first started doing surveys about 5 years ago. I signed up with over 300 sites (today I am with well over 600 sites) and now, I regularly get paid by about 50 of them.
My first month I made a whopping $5. The next few months were more of the same. But I stuck with it and was patient. Today, again 5 years later, I regularly make at least $600 on paid surveys.
Here are the key things to remember.
1. There are no guarantees with surveys. It’s all about your demographics. Sometimes they will want teens, other times they will want working moms, other time they will want physicians.
2. You really need to be with the biggest group of legit sites you can find. The more sites you are with, the more likely that you will actually match up your demographics with surveys and get paid.
3. Don’t ever pay for a list. Period. All of the same information is out there for free.
4. Be patient. If it works for you, it won’t work instantly. I can’t tell you how many people have contacted me saying “I am giving up after a month.” Well, like I said, if I did that I would have stopped making $5.
But the upside to surveys is that there is no risk. You don’t spend any money and if you try it and like it, great. And if you don’t you walk away. If you want to check out my blog where I track the survey sites that have actually paid me, feel free to visit
Good luck!
Here is the info on the survey sites I use your certainly not going to get rich doing them, but if I am messing around on the internet I will do them in my free time. Do not give anyone your SSN there are lots of sites out there that are legit and they do not need this info from you. Nor do you have to pay to join.
My favorite is Pinecone Research. You have to have an invitation to join though. So look around for some on the internet and you’ll find one usually. They send one or two surveys a month. All surveys are pretty short and at least $3 each. They are great though cause you will have a few days or a week to answer the survey if you don’t check your email religiously. Then they send a check in the mail pronto or you can choose to have it put in a paypal account.
Survey savvy has a great referral program if you know people who will join you get money for surveys they complete also. Once you decide to get your payout you just request it and you get a check in the mail in a few weeks.
I have also tried American Consumer Opinion. They pay by check in mail for each survey completed (the ones I did were $4-5 each, but I have not been able to complete many of their surveys (very few).
Surveyspot has tons of surveys most of which you only get an entry into a drawing (which I have never won). However they do have many paid surveys also. You can just go to their site everyday and answer surveys you don’t have to wait for them to be emailed to you (they are also emailed to you). They do some previewing of tv commercials and tv shows. I have done a couple tv shows which involved watching an hour long program (45 minutes without commercials) and answering some questions about it - with payment of $20 so that was nice.
Finally I think the first one I joined was Lightspeed. I liked it at first they sent a lot of surveys and I qualified for a lot of them. Now there surveys seem longer and they give less points for them. You get points you can redeem for gift cards to different places or for paypal $$. I have gotten a couple invitations for an extended survey worth $50 each so I have stuck with them.
Most pay a few dollars per survey completed so it is best to use several. You also need to be a regular email checker because if you don’t respond to the survey fast enough they have met their quota.
If you would like to give me a referral credit use the link in my profile for survey savvy and the other sites I use are listed there as well. Good Luck!
